Saigon Baigur

Saigon Baigur is the first premium dry gin to be distilled in Ho Chi Minh City, born from the shared passion of Dutch founders Jochem Lisser and Florian Draaisima. The name honors Baigur, the first known settlement over 1,000 years ago in what is now Saigon—a small trading post for livestock, fish, and spices.

In 2018, the founders began traveling Vietnam by motorcycle, mesmerized by its diversity of landscapes and botanicals. They experimented with hundreds of recipes before selecting 12 distinctive local ingredients: Buddha's hand, vapour-infused lotus flower, Saigon cinnamon, local star anise, and Phu Quoc peppercorns, combined with Macedonian juniper.

Gold Medal winner at The Gin Masters 2022, Saigon Baigur captures the sense of adventure, excitement, and boldness of Vietnam in every bottle—a Vietnamese take on the classic dry gin that honors centuries of spice trading traditions.
